*February 2009 Update* I hate Internet Explorer! Just when you think you have a perfectly good website--after countless hours designing and testing--something screwy happens in IE. I'm a Firefox user and do the majority of my testing with that browser. I check major changes with IE and Firefox. But little tweaks...it seems so painstakingly redundant to double check with two browsers. Unfortunately, IE is such a little bitch, one minor tweak will screw up everything. I'm getting closer to working out the bugs--but I'm thinking of making Firefox a requirement for visiting my site.

*January 2009 Update* I'm in midst of major, major changes to my website. Most won't be noticeable to the average viewer. I've cleaned up more bugs that are only visible in IE (stupid Internet Explorer...). The overhaul will consist of fixing those aforementioned problems and making the site cleaner and faster. I pride myself on having a fast website. Too much of the internet has complicated glitz that takes too long load.

That being said, there will be some noticeable errors. My website is complex--over 500 pages and I have to change to code on every page. I'm doing this by myself so it might take some time. If you see any pages that don't look alike, I haven't gotten around to updating them yet (either that, or I screwed up and forgot: please let me know so I can fix it).

I have also decided to kill the Humorous Picture of the Month. It was an area that didn't get a lot of traffic and started to become too cumbersome to update. That and people stopped emailing me pictures. When it reached the point I had to Google "funny" for new material, I decided it wasn't worth it. I might bring it back if I feel a need. But for the time being, there will be no more HPotMs.

Once the code is all updated, I plan on redoing the color scheme and maybe create a new menu interface. I also hope to update the "About Me" section this year (mainly because The Wife keeps nagging me). I thank you, loyal reader (no S) for your patience and allegiance.
