Off the AP wire:
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - Two U.S. Navy warships exchanged gunfire with suspected pirates Saturday off the coast of Somalia, and one suspect was killed and five others were wounded, the navy said.
"Suspected pirates?" What gave it away? Was it the Jolly Roger flying from the mast or because the entire crew wore eye patches and said "ARRRR." I just hope this wasn't a case of mistaken identity--wouldn't it be a shame if the navy shot the crew of "Pirates of the Caribbean 2" (well, maybe not Orlando Bloom). I got a question: when the navy decided to pull over the pirates' vessel, did they yell stop or "avast ye matey?" Were the naval officers able to communicate with the prisoners or did they have to bring in a pirate-to-English translator to assist them?
Pirates...it's just too funny.
