nothing like an overused cliche: Got Milk? Wed, 04/05/06

I don't understand something. Milk is sold at a loss. The grocery stores sell milk for less than what they pay for it just to get people in the store to buy other stuff. But the part that I don't get is why do they make you buy more? The best price is when you buy two gallons. You'd think the stores would want you to buy smaller quantities so you hafta keep coming back (and spend more money). So why does the grocery store make the best value two gallons of milk? Seems to me like the better business plan would be one gallon of milkand multiple trips to the grocery store.

As much as I like to think I've become SoCal, I still refuse to acknowledge the rain and adjust to its terrors. It was pouring today--did I wear pants? Hell no. Did I bring a jacket? I'm not a pansy. Did I carry an umbrella? What the heck is an umbrella? It may be wet and soggy outside, but I'm not gonna change my attire for something I didn't do. I didn't make it ran--why should I adjust? If anything, the rain should work around my schedule. I was here doing my thing and the sky chose to dump water on me. I didn't choose for it to rain--I'm not altering my schedule for it (this is coming from the guy who wants to call in sick to work just because its raining).
