    I feel like a chicken sandwich! Sun, 05/14/06

    A homie of mine (white guys can have homies) mocked me recently because I order the same thing to eat every time we go out to eat.

    "'Nerd, you always order a chicken sandwich," said Mr. Obvious. "No matter what restaurant we go to, it's always a chicken sandwich. Ever think of trying something different?"

    Uh, no.

    "They" say that variety is the spice of life: I hafta disagree--and not just because I don't know who "they" are. I think "they" got it wrong. Variety is for the weak--the indecisive. It's for people who don't know what they want in life. Me--I know what I want. If I order a chicken sandwich every time I go to a restaurant, it doesn't mean I'm boring. I found what I want out of life--and I want a chicken sandwich. I know what makes me happy. If I found something that completes me, there's no need to stray. It's not like I'm in a committed relationship--I just don't wanna stay up all night wondering about what coulda been. If cheese pizzas, beef bowls, and chicken sandwiches please me, so be it.
